ast weekend in Parma, Italy and Barcelona, Spain as these two leagues dropped two heart wrenching finales on our plate. The top two teams in Italy battled to within 3 points and a hail mary attempt, while 2 of the top three in Spain ended the game with a difference of just 1 point.
The three imports for the Catania Elephants (1-0) made their presence known scoring early and often for the Sicilians in their 54-51 rebuttle to last year's IFL champion Parma (0-1). The young national quarterback Thomas Monard did his part to help the team attempt a come from behind victory, but the threat was neutralized in the red zone just prior to what would have been a go ahead and winning touchdown.
